I am so happy, now. Thanks for the suggestion! The other quirks I can live with, although the other one that is not the biggest deal is that I prefer the e-mail notification that comes up when clicking the e-mail icon in the taskbar that shows the actual accounts that have new mails. The big notification page that comes up and says that you have new mail and then just takes you to the mail tab in sense UI is kind of useless when you have five accounts. So, if anyone has a suggestion of how to better deal with that issues, I would welcome it.

For now, though, I am really happy with 6.5.3 and Sense UI 2.5!!

Thanks!!
yeah showcase is the program from hell i've realized, it did the samething to me. I don't use sense so I don't have any suggestions.

Re: [ Kitchen ][ 12-1 ][ v1.1 ][ 6.5.3 \ 6.5 \ 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitchen

I have been researching organizing my start menu with added folders for a couple days. Everything I find involves a lot of file manipulation and renaming. Are there any apps that will do this? Or is it really that time consuming! What is the easiest method? Any write ups specific to Calks Kitchen?

re/Start works well. you can create new folders and move the shortcuts around between them. it can get a little tedious as you have to do one at a time. it will also let you change the icons for folders/shortcuts.

I agree; Showcase is a p.o.s. I was trying to live with it, though, because I run 6.5.x and I really missed the drop down menu to switch/close programs...until I realized today that QuickMenu can do just that! I'd never noticed that feature in it, and had written it off until I messed around some more.

Anyone help me with a reg setting?

When the windows or start button is pressed, I would like a soft button to go to a listing of 'all programs', kind of like how my stock vzw tp2 was. In other words, an althabetical list, 1 column. TIA.

here, try this out, its from xda and for Wvga devices w/ 6.5 cab is attached in the post

forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=587631

it'll get rid of the hexagonal icon positioning and consolidate you programs into a single column scrollable list assinged to start button

Has anyone else had success with tower based location with the kitchen?

If so, what EXTs/OEMs did you select? WM version and XIP?

I have used 6.5.3 with 28005 and 28008 and Google Maps 3.2.1 cooked in from the kitchen. Once I loaded 3.3, it stopped working.

P.S. I have used Manila 2.5.1920.2525 and 2.5.1921.1619 with the above.
