you should use cleanram on any wm rom. look on the first post for cleanram 1.8 which i believe to be better than any newer versions. try it out it doesn't hurt. it will make this ROM stay fast and give you better battery life. I never had it at 65 RAM ever. the highest is 55, with cleanram.

My main focus on this release will be cleaning up the Registry to clear any junk files to make a little lighter and faster. I will remove googlemaps and have as cab for the newest version. Also some small fixes.

Re: ~ SuperRom_S_14 ~5-15-10~wm6.5 2.1~w/Silence Kit~Lightest ROM w/Manila EVER!! Fas

OK folks. I've been flashing a lot these past few months. I'm often having issues with available RAM and/or quirks/instability in each of the various ROMs I've used. Sometimes they work fine "out of the box" and then have issues with the apps I install. Things often seem to get complicated or unstable after I install our corp exchange sync and encryption... Other times, the ROMs themselves have issues.

Just decided to try "SuperROM" and I've been running it for about 24 hours. I had to install a lot of items that I use/need (Facebook, Voicedial, etc.) but I am very pleased so far. It's very fast and stable so far and I've never had so much RAM available. Even with all my exchange configurations and apps installed I have over 100MB RAM available.

I've reviewed Mlin's ROM summary and my experience is similar to his with respect to available RAM/ROM and performance after clean install. However, some ROMs seem to nosedive quick on RAM usage and performance after I configure my applications. This ROM runs fast and I seem to have more available memory over time and after I've configured it.

I miss Manila 2.5 and Cookie's home tab, but (at this point) am willing to give them up to have better performance and stability.

BTW -- using Kamil's Compact Sense 2.1 Home cab on this ROM and it works well. Take a look here for more info:

(make sure you download the WVGA version)
