The ROM already contains support for viewing Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and some others. Is that what you're talking about?

Re: |ROM||KITCHEN|~[LEAD ROM]~|6.5||10-2-11|[Sprint] [Multi-Carrier]

First off, thank you for all your work. I just recently encountered an issue with your otherwise perfect rom. I plugged headphones into the 3.5 mm jack for about 40 minutes. When I took them out the phone still shows the headphones icon and even shutting down the phone won't get rid of it (so I can't use the speakerphone or the audio on the phone without headphones). I'm on Sprint 6.5 (full version). It may just be my phone, but I've never had the issue before. If anyone has a solution, please let me know. Please don't let this discourage anyone from using this rom, because it really is fantastic and I don't even know if it's related to the rom.

Try plugging and unplugging the headphones several times. The contacts sometimes get stuck closed so that your device thinks that the headphones are still plugged in. You can always flash stock to confirm if it is driving you crazy.

Re: |ROM||KITCHEN|~[LEAD ROM]~|6.5||10-2-11|[Sprint] [Multi-Carrier]

One of the updates adressed a headphone issue, so I thought it might be rom related (I'd taken out the battery and tried putting in and removing a couple sets of headphones). After reading Tinkerbell's post it sounded like a hardware issue. I did a Bing search and it recommended blowing in the jack and removing the headphones 7 or 8 times in a row. That worked, so it was obviously unrelated to Leadpoizon's fantastic rom. Thanks!

Re: |ROM||KITCHEN|~[LEAD ROM]~|6.5||10-2-11|[Sprint] [Multi-Carrier]

Greetings!

Like the ROM a lot but noticed bluetooth Dialup Networking (DUN) is not enabled.

I enabled it using these registry hacks (found all over the net):
1. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing]
Extension="" Delete the "isext.dll"
2. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\settings]
ForceCellConnection="Sprint"
3. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\Wmodem]
Check Profile=0
Connected=0
Multi-NAI=0
WModemDUN=0
4. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WIDCOMM\Plugin\DUNServ er\ControlPanel]
Enabled=1

But I still can't connect using #777 and blank username/password.

There's no sign of the "CM Guardian" service and the ForceCellConnection isn't being reset so that's not the problem.

Each time the DUN connection starts up, the Data Connection control panel switches from On to Off and I get a "Data Call Failure" error 67 invalid username/password.

I've been using bluetooth DUN on this phone for years, both on the stock, Sprint Lovers, and Energy ROMs. Not sure why I can't get it to work with this ROM.

Is it just me? Anyone else try this? It looks like it's not using the proper cellular data connection. It should be using the default "Sprint" connection but for some reason it doesn't.

Any help would be great. Would love to use a stable, slim ROM like this again after Energy.

Thanks!
-William

The registry edits you are referring to above are actually for stealth tethering with the default Internet Sharing application that comes with the phone. They used to work for the Touch Pro, but in the Touch Pro2, HTC changed it up and made it so the Internet Sharing application still calls home even with those registry settings. The application I am referring to looks almost exactly like the default windows internet sharing application (which doesn't call home) with the addition of the Bluetooth tethering capability. To get around the issue of the call home being made, the fix is to replace the Internet Sharing application that is put in by HTC (made by Broadcom) and replace it with the Windows Mobile Stock one (made by Microsoft). This results in the loss of Bluetooth tethering. You an alternatively use the WiFi Router application to do wireless internet sharing. This is all to my knowledge. If you know something I don't, then please enlighten me.

I will look into this issue and see what I did wrong and how I can enable the ability for Bluetooth tether.
