How are you accessing gmail? I use gmail with imap idle push through flexmail with no issues whatsoever, so I'm guessing whatever issue you're having is software related vs at gmail's end...

what is this Signal bars fix? for some reason, this rom (Version 4) give me much better signal than any other rom, even better than the stock rom. With stock rom and other rom, I was only able to get 1 bar at my work (sometime), with this, I was able to get 5 all the time. Just wondering what this signal fix is.

You are not getting better signal. It's a display of bars that can be altered. Sprint shows up to 7 bars, 5 bars for telus. No rom can give you better signal, but some roms can show more bars in more places..well I will defer to Vin

Flashing V5 soon. Thanks again!

I just use native activesync to do push gmail however keeps giveing me an error with V5

Hey Vin,

looks like active sync will not set up for me. Trying to set up exchange email and it wont get past the automatic configuration. My hunch from previous active sync problems is the new sip is interfering with the setup. Just wanted to let you know.

update. Ok so on the automatic configuration screen I immediately tapped skip and it managed to get past this and work Next test will be to see if it will sync after initial setup.

update2: it works fine. After soft reset sent myself a couple test emails and it's syncing just fine.

I think I narrowed the ringer issues down to a Sashimi pim restore (any pim restore may cause it). Was wondering if someone with ringer issues could confirm whether or not they are doing a pim restore, and if so, whether or not it is from this version of manila or another. I'm pretty sure the pim that I was restoring was carried over from 2.1.

lol it has nothing to do with your profile settings ... it has to do with your friends' profile/privacy settings ... have you tried multiple friends profiles? lol would be funny if all your friends block facebook apps though lol

... i just re-read ... unless you are saying you can't view your own online album?

I can see my friends albums but not my own albums lol
Can you navigate me,because it sucks not be able to view my own pics lol
