This is weird in an awesome kinda way:

I tried the Aug 20-no CHT version 1 while waiting for the CHT. I never flashed V2 since I was not having any of the problems reported. Well, I am still without my precious cookies. Out of all the perfect ROMs Vin has shared, this is my absolute favorite.

This is because I really like the battery life I'm getting with this ROM. I have tried all CHT and most non-CHT versions, all of which had good battery life, but never this good. I did not do anything different than before. I'm dying to flash again, but I doubt I'll be able to recreate these results. Of course, reflashing our favorite ROM version is always an option....

That's it, and like I said, I've got no problems with losing facebook contacts or having to re-link them. Only issue I've got is I don't have a good way to backup/restore MMS messages. The text msg will still show up from the PIM restore of my txt msgs, but I lose the MMS attachments they're linked to.

Ok thanks for the write up on this. It seems as though i was correct. PIM back up doesnt relink facebook contacts. If you save ur contacts on microsoft outlook that seems to be the way to get back ur facebook contacts. Thanks Todd. I really dont like microsoft outlook but now i will like it over PIM for backing up contacts.

Just fyi I always flash from pc...never any issues...I did get the auto run errors on previous versions but pulling sd card while flashing cured that...just an fyi for anyone that flashes from AS like me....always have and always will...no task 29m or nothing...flash and hard reset and off...
