Vin rom average spikes are less than 300ma.
Pics are in order from highest drain Energy,
to Energy with my battery cab added,
to Vins Jan rom under 250ma.
Can you make a cab for my Evo lol
That thing is a battery burner.I can imagine Evo 3D battery life

My co-worker with an Evo bit the bullet and got an extendid battery.
I wanrned him about the cheapo ebay knock-offs,
that sell you battery and case for less than $20,

As they are just 2 smaller cheap batteries connected in parallel in one case,
so you still get more than 1500ma, but the battery circuitry is not setup for that,
so you end up having erratic battery life for first few charge cycles.

ALSO.. ALL BATTERY COMPANIES LIE-LIE-LIE about Miliamp-Hour ratings!!!

DON'T Believe Seido OR Mugen.. !!!
IT DOESN't matter WHO, or WHERE it comes from!
ONLY OEM Batteries are held accountable to have accurate rating!!!
ONLY OEM Batteries can be trusted to have miliamp-hour stated!!!

That being said, I did buy have an ultra cheapo priced,
3500ma!! Ebay battery for an Evo, only $10 dollars!!!

I placed it in my TP2, as they are compatible.
It came quick as it came from a "USA" seller, not china that takes a month
And it outperforms my 1800ma Mugen, and my 2000ma no-name, and my
1500ma HTC OEM !
It is stated at 3500ma, but lasts like a 2000ma.
My mugen 1800ma, lasts like a 1300ma
My HTC OEM 1500ma, thats over a year old, lasts like an 1000ma
My no-name ("ananda" I think) a 2000ma battery, lasts like an 1000ma
I have a seido rated 1500ma for the TP1,
and truthfully never noticed ANY real difference over the standard 1340ma battery

My coworker bought an OEM extendid battery for his Evo and couldn't be happier,
as it pushes true power rated, more than all of mine lol.

Again, NOTHING BEATS OEM!!
You can buy a Mugen or Seido 3500ma...
and IT WONT last as long as an OEM 2200ma !!!
DON'T BE FOOLED!!
There will always be other views from fanboys of other name brands,
or refutations of those that say they know better or work for the company.
If they had better experience, good for them.
To me it's this way as I have experienced.

Re: [ROM] Plutonium,Neodium,Titanium [21916,28244]

Does the ROM flash utility included with rar file substitute Task29 ? Or do I still have to run Task29 separately before flashing ?

My Sense-based Neodium would get slow after a while and even a HR didn't do much good. So I decided to reflash to the newest Titanium ROM however I am having some weird dialog redraw problems, and I am wondering if I needed to run Task29 before flashing; for some reason I thought it was already a part of the installer.

On a separate note, I am having problems wiht ArkSwitch task manager. It's working well until the first reset, then it gives me an "unspecified error" message. I did install all my usual software and tweaks (e.g. replaced Manilla Start Menu with MMAppLauncher). I installed MMTaskLauncher and it works fine, same way as ArkSwitch but using up much less RAM.

There is no Task29 included with ROMs, you will have to do that yourself. If I were you, I would save files from your SD card and reformat, then replace files back on card... then re-download the ROM, Task29 and flash ROM. My guess is that all your problems will be gone.

Has something happened with Twitter. Have not used it for a few weeks, but now my username/password does not work with the Twitter tab on my TP2, but the same info works on the PC. Strange

HERE is a post from NRG thread with a couple of links about the twitter problem. Basically, if you have the twitter tab working, save your registry... once you flash/hard reset, you can't get it back.

Thanks and you've been thanked.
So, since I don't have my twitter info saved, I'll never be able to get it to work on my TP2 again. This bites.

You can try Motweets... heard it might eat a little more battery, but it's an option?

Does anyone know of a Task plugin for Titanium other than Taskanium - it tends to stop working if the Today screen changes orientation (eg I open the keyboard while on Today).
