I am still running 12-29 Pluto and it is still fantastic. Just wondering what type of interface mods members here are sticking with - so far I use SPB Mobile Shell and 16 links mod on Sense. For now, I am not running Cookie at all. Just curious. Thanks again vin for great work.

look on Vin's P-clip, I posted start menu replacement and mmaplauncher, also quick launch (inferior and too small, but very light)

1/3 neo with spb and mskip, s2u2/s2p and removed startmenu

running for 48 hours with too many sms, web, push email and calls-----86 free

If I am reading the startmenu remover thread right, I don't think it will work for 6.5.x roms so I guess MMAppLauncher is probably best alternative for us?

in a xda thread there are 2 separate start menu remover posted, 1 for 6.5 and other for 6.5.x

I am trying mmapplauncher right now on the latest neo. so far so good.

Yes I have been bouncing other alternatives but these two are the best so far.
I will post disable cabs and two best versions of 2 apps.
You may have to reinstall the "remover" cabs with each installation of trying the 2 apps.
As the OS actually redid sense startmenu on an uninstall of an app.

EDIT:
WinStarBeta2 is more simple & flashy but deveolpment finished and thread gone,
Later betas (3&4) had some quirks as it was changing.

EDIT2:
For biggest mem gain, but no folder view, third choice is "OCMan new Start menu"


MMapplauncher developement was stopped, but creator intends to continue,
but doesnt matter as it is more polished and works better than anything so far.

I REALLY like the 12-08 Pluto with SPB Mobile Shell. I like the dialer better than any of the other ones I have used. And, it has a speaker phone button. Very quick performance as well, with good battery life. Thanks VIN!

Been running same thing after trying the 12-8 neo and pluto, had around extra 8MB of RAM over 1/3, but both had the proximity sensor problem. It is nice having some extra RAM available. Running MMApp for a month or so with no apparent problems. Being able to keep internet and other programs open is really sweet. Haven't really missed Pluto that much, was all I used to run.

I finally tried the droid theme, been on my SD card for a while... wish I would have tried it long ago (why didn't you say something LOL)... it's awesome! Didn't care for the Windows 7 theme. It was nice for a while, but liked the original... till now :grin:

Still have to switch to CHT2.0 at times, but have around 85MB free... around 25MB less than SPB.

Does someone know how to make BLUETOOTH DISCOVERABLE and not only visible for 60 sec? Now I couldn't use Tarkim Keyboard Controller for make my bluetooth discoveravle. TIA

If you are using Cookie 2.0 there is an option under miscellaneous to make the bluetooth toggle discoverable or not.

Another option...an XDA member made a cab to make BT discoverable, although I have not tried it.
