Welcome to RootRom
Note in your post which rom version you are using.
As I have quit a few different versions to choose from. :)

Join the chat room on Palringo.
Palringo is cooked in so just log in.
Chat Group name is rootrom

Here is the DarkRoot/MaxDarkRoot combo rom

Once it loads up you will be presented with DarkRoot pictured here.
Now if you want Max 2.7 click the start menu and scroll down to System Tools.
In that folder you will find a folder called Enable Max.
You will have two things to install there.
1. Max Manila 2.7
2. Ultimate Quicklink Fix.
You can install Max and uninstall max as well.
No need for flashing DarkRoot and then Flashing again to use MaxDarkRoot because this contains both now.
No need to Flash DarkRoot and then search for and install Max Manila 2.7 either.

Root Downloaded and booted up fine it runs great has all the programs that I normaly use will be running it and report back the wallpaper looks great

Root the internet folder that you have does not have anything in it is that just for us to move the programs around in it?

Tried the weather app myself and got the same results no data enabled quick gps wnt into the menu settings checked them and stilll did not work is that enough detail

if either of you would like to step into the chat room here on ppcgeeks so we can determine if this is a real issue, i will gladly try my best to help you so we dont clutter up this thread until we've tried everything we possibly can to make sure its an actual issue with the rom.

My Location is giving me issues.
Weather tab works perfect if you select city.

great looking rom but i also hace problems with the My Location. I can select a city and view its weather forecast but the my location just keeps endlessly searching and searching

first off... GREAT JOB ROOT!!! this rom is great,everything seemed to work right out the box,very fast,smooth,responsive and ram friendly and battery life is doing good so far with no tweaks,stylus awake feature,youtube,opera,and all the other goodies i love you packed in are working smoothly,visually i love that taskbar and your choice of wallpaper (don't know if bg4all works i had no plans of changing the wallpaper lol) really like the menu setups,a second today screen being cooked in,sms worked,couldn't get mms cause the auto setup wouldn't allow but that was expected knowing the rom is sprint based and the only other thing that didn't work was my location but putting my city in works no problems so all in all i guess the mms was my only hangup

looking forward to any and all development that you put into this rom!!!!
i think the rom is AWESOME!!!!! :headbang:

EDIT: forgot to say titanium was perfect as well!!

possible fix for weather issue... HTC GeoService cab? I found one cabbed up version but it was a beat cab (over on xda vetvito's rom). Looked all over, couldn't find another one. I'm sure you guys more experienced than me have already thought of this or know where to get it. JHust throwin it out...

Is the HTC messaging working properly in this rom? I know it hasnt worked in any of the other roms with indagroove taking it out completely. Also with landscape fix cooked in is the quick launch working? When i installed the cab it made my quick launch stop working and the weather animation on the home screen disappear.

I also have the my location not working and google maps can not find my location. I remember a post regarding some Radios Killing GPS. That may be why the My Location is not working. I'm flashing to radio to Sprint Radio V1.11.00F R and also installing a QuickGPS cab file.

OK GPS in google maps is working now but my location is still showing No weather data available.

Going to try the Conflipper Weather Fix,cab I got a while ago.

It is cooked in and works.
My Location uses GoogleLocationService and it is also cooked in and did work but something else that was cooked in broke it.
Still trying to track it down and fix it back.

Found a fix for My Location not working.
Will try to cook it in and post a new build soon.

Still on my to do list is the Twitter tab.
I have it turned off for two reasons.
1. I don't use it.
2. Can't get it to work. :)

I know I'm just one person but you don't have to hurt yourself getting the twitter tab to work. So far good work.
