Facebook Contacts sync permanently?
 

with HTC Facebook friends are permanently linked to your contacts unless you unlink them or delete the info that HTC leaves in the notes section of your contacts in Outlook. I am wondering if Samsung will leave my FB contacts linked if I decide to restore my phone to factory(or flash later one). It was a pita to go and link each one of my contacts. I don't simply want to add all my friends in the get friends section and have my phonebook filled up with a bunch of useless contacts that I don't want.

On the same point, I'm really annoyed with having to go in and clean up all of the junk HTC left on my contacts on the Epic. lol

Why did you have to clean it? I'm leaving it for when I can flash a custom HTC rom with sense. Sense has better widget and I like pinch zooming to get to different pages.

I have pinch zooming using launcher pro.. I could have sworn touchwiz had it too..

Eh, I'm sure I'll be able to let facebook sync them back up when that happens and if I decide to install it. So far, I'm really not missing Sense much myself with the widgets I've installed.

So did anyone figure this out? I hate relinking my facebook/google contacts every time I flash
