Simply Stunning 4.2

Using it coupled with the 1.2ghz ULV kernel, its amazingly fast, smooth, and balanced. Best rom I've used yet, and yes I've used the latest bugless beast.

Been running SS 4.2 all weekend with the default 1ghz lv kernel. Just used RomManager to upgrade to SS 4.3. Did not really notice the difference but both are very stable and fast.

Still new to flashing my Droid but so far I am very happy with the SS Roms. Thank you for posting this link :)

Awesome, loving 4.3 here, running the 1.2ghz ULV kernel, you might try it and see where you get.

Re: Simply Stunning 4.2

I gave the 1.2 kernels a try but both the ULV and LV ones caused odd behavior on my droid. They were very fast but I was getting random crashes and even a couple of system lockups.

Dropped to the 1.1 LV Kernel and so far it has been very stable. I may give the 1.1 ULV a shot and see how it runs.

Is the only difference between the LV and ULV in battery savings or do you see other benefits?

There is a smidgen of battery savings, and a bit of heat, but to be honest. I don't notice either.

The 1.1 LV kernel has been very stable and fast, going to stick with that. I am noticing a slight battery drain over a stock kernel but I am hoping some adjustments to setCPU will clear that up.

On a side note, coming from years of Windows Mobile hacking and rom cooking I am finding Android to be a joy. Invested in RomManager and SetCPU so I can take care of everything from the device.
