Re: Lucario's WM6.5 (21869) Stock Rom V1.0 with old sprint manilla 11/8/09

This ROM is running pretty spectacularly. I'm reminded of why I really like Manilla 2.1. The people tab and the text tab are much more friendly/useful. In addition, the EZ-input 1.5 is a little dated. At least with the SIP, I can install a new keyboard though, so no worries there.

The People Tab and Text Tab isn't the end of the world. ROM is fast stable and usable. I'll probably keep using this for a while, thanks a lot, you rock!

Looks sweet gonna try it soon. I wonder if there is a way to get the original sprint look with 2.1 manila? That would really rock.

It's been pretty good for me. I burn so often, it's hard to gauge these days, but I'd go with a "Good" rating for battery life.

I would say try doing a few things:

1) Keep the apps as stock as possible, just leave out the Sprint crap except maybe like Sprint TV.
2) Leave out the other stuff like My Phone, WM Marketplace, etc. and let people install them from cabs, then give links to some popular cabs maybe.
3) Keep it so the installed device storage is actually quite huge.

Re: Lucario's WM6.5 (21869) Stock Rom V1.0 with old sprint manilla 11/8/09

Love this rom, still using it after a week.

Bugs I've found:

Notifications aren't showing the soft keys on popup.
Unable to send pictures with included messaging. Not sure if I can receive.

I miss the Facebook integration and People Tab options. Few things here and there, but still the fastest, most stable, best battery life I've ever had with my diamond.

Would love to see this rom tweaked/upgraded on a few apps and bug fixed, but otherwise, build on this ROM (don't rebuild or redo or whatever, just build upon this one, it's a winner.)

One other thing, if you're burning another one. I used a 5-column start-menu KBZL's ROM and really liked it. I rarely if ever had to scroll, was really efficient using the start menu.

Just saying.

That's funny, cause KBZL rom had the same problem.
