Yes, it is another rom.. this ones comes without a name

this is what you get when a first timer steps into the kitchen..



haven't visited the kitchen in quite some time and this might be my last rom... getting the hero here in a few days. just felt the need to check out the new sys releases here lately. decided to cook up a little something as well. here ya go..

back to sys 23017. tried the others out and didnt really feel them. 21840 was nice, but my phone started acting a little crazy and plus i couldn't compose a new text message
added tachi dialer back in
stuck with opera 9.5
trimmed up the rom a little to save on space
couple battery tweaks.. hopefully battery life lasts a little longer

(send and receive should be 5mb for sprint. i edited the registry, but it doesnt reflect that if you go to select the size settings. you will see it though when you go to send a picture)

i'm not really feeling the keypad too much though. i'll probably take another stab at it another time. it was just a quick thing. any idea how to get the letters and numbers on the keypad a different color?

getting a phone call while music is being played caused freeze, more like black out, resulting hard reset.

oh.. and the battery indicator does not pop up on the first initial tf3d screen, but it shows later... say after i played with 'start' a bit. does that make sense?

You need to modify the ezinput.dll in some unknown way. I don't believe it's been done with ezinput 2.0 yet. Only Merdinh has been able to do it on one version of ezinput 1.5 so for. I have tried other ezinput 1.5 versions with no success.

You could try glossing the tops of the keys something like this so that the top digits are a little more readable:

Which background, where?

the text input box I guess you could call it. anywhere there is text.. sending a text. email. a pop up error message it shows up grey in the background instead of white.
