Please help...Trying to flash a Win 6.5 Rom...Won't go.

Hey all,

Here's the story in brief. I have a Sprint Diamond, currently running MightyRom 3.7. Working fine.

Yesterday, got the Bear-Bonz ROM and flashed it. It loaded and seemed to work ok for 5 minutes. Then I lost all my icons and it froze.

Hard reset. Same thing.

Tried to flash the most recent Sprint Rom and it has a long pause on "Verifying information on your devide...Please Wait..." then gives me an error that the device is invalid.

DL'ed the Sprint_shipped again and retried it. Same issue.

Then I tried grooverom 5 and it went through the flash without issues.

Seemed to load up but after it does the "Customizations", hangs at the boot screen. Hard Reset...same thing.

Made the Diamond go into bootloader screen and got the rainbow...Reflashed back to Migtyrom 3.7. No problems. Works fine.

Now trying to reflash the Sprint-shipped and it's hanging at "Verifying information on your devide...Please Wait..." It's been there for 20 minutes.

Please help...What should I do?

flash stock, then delete internal storage>program files... Delete all the files found in here.... then flash rom of your choice.... then clear storage.... works every time

Why didn't you post a question about this in my rom thread when you had the problem?

I have an FAQ in the second post in my rom thread. I would have directed you to the instructions on flashing back to the shipped rom in the FAQ. You should check it out... should be able to get you back on track.

I guess you guys didn't read my first post...

I dl'ed the Sprint_Shipped Rom. It won't load.

I read Bear Bonz post and that's where I found out I should try to load the shipped ROM in the first place.

Hard-reset, flash to ship (tust to first tap here screen), reflash custom rom.

There are several threads about this, so search if that doesn't work.

In order to get the Shipped ROM to flash, you're going to need to get into bootloader mode [PWR+Vol Down+Reset-->HOLD]. Then just run the Shipped ROM exe and it will load.
I've had exactly this kind of thing happen.

If someone's suggestion helped you, that's usually the time to click on the little green Thanks button.
And you're welcome.

Just sayin'.
