please help!
 

I know this has been covered many times, but the search is frustrating me. I signed up for xda-developers, ppcgeeks, even htcwiki, and all does not help, I am really bad at these kinds of things and really need the step by step instructions. I changed my background and now i cant see the words on the homescreen.. my backgrounds is black and white and i need to change it to like purple or something. I found this http://www.htcwiki.com/thread/235199...ffset=0&t=anon and i got the app but i dont know where to go from that...i've also tried using ultra edit but i didnt know where to start. I tried manila editor too but it wouldnt let me get into it idk why...if anyone can help me that would be great!! Thank you!

in order to change font color you need to edit 77faa36d_manila in mode9, but unless you know the codes or know someone nice enough who can do it then you might be out of luck...i have the file to change it from white to black, or vice versa. but your best choice is to just edit your background image in photoshop so either black or white txt shows up well on it.
