Has anyone here used android on the Diamond? I just ordered the diamond and I've played around with android some and like it and I know you can use android on the regular touch a friend of mine has used it but I was just wondering if anyone here had tried it and if so what were the results?

It's just a toy for now. I played with it about 10 minutes before it hard reset my phone then I put it away. :)

There are other things like the Windows 3.1, 95 and 98, Playstation, Gameboy, etc emulators that you can play with though.

The Android port to the Diamond isn't complete yet. It runs, but has little radio capability on GSM phones, and none at all on CDMA. It'll be a while before it actually runs well.

Also, there are some rather annoying color issues with cdma diamonds running Android, menus are mainly unresponsive and unreadable. But, its still being developed, there is still some stuff dealing with it on XDA, you should check that thread out.
