Sprint Diamond on Verizon and back to Sprint

I recently activated a Sprint Diamond on my Verizon account and now I'm thinking about switching carriers and going to Sprint....what's the procedure for reprogramming the phone for Sprint? I'm assuming if I install a stock Sprint ROM it'll reset all of the radio settings.

no all you need to do is to put a sprint prl back onto the phone and change the msl code back to the original sprint msl code. The rom will be optionial as i have not found a non sprint rom to begin with it seems as if all custom roms are sprint based. i cant wait for the vzw diamond and hope the vzw diamond is the exact same as sprint so i can use a vzw rom...

MightyROM is Telus based FYI. But I would flash the stock ROM just to be sure.

Re: Sprint Diamond on Verizon and back to Sprint

From what I am reading, they are "downgrading" the verizon diamond, for whatever reason. Less RAM, which won't be good for the tf3d. you should leave the dark side and come to sprint, lol

just wondering, what did you have to do to switch from sprint to verizon?

I just moved to an area that is covered only by verizon and sprint told me if I excessively roam then I will be charged

so I got a cheap phone on my brothers verizon account, I would much rather have my diamond

anyways, did a little looking on here but really didn't find what I was looking for as in how to do the actual switch

any help would be grateful

thanks

There are guides on how to do this in one of these forums. But basically you locate a copy of QPST and another utility I can't think of and remove the Sprint lock codes and reprogram it to connect to Verizon's network. It's not perfect, but at least you can use the Diamond on Verizon.
