Re: can you ever flash to much

Your device's components are rated to withstand ca 10,000 flashes. Someone want to help us out with the math? It takes about 15 minutes to flash and setup

Flash * 10,000 = 150,000 minutes = 2,500 hours = 104.16 Days of continual flashing to burn out your device

If you flashed your phone on average 3x's per day it would take you...

10,000 div 3 = 3,333.33 days = 476.19 weeks = 9.15 years of continual flashing to burn out your device

My recommendation: FLASH AWAY!!! Who keeps the same phone that long anyway? I buy one at least every year, and every other year it is discounted!

Re: can you ever flash to much

rstoyguy is right, there is little chance of exceeding 10,000 flashes. I know htere are some here that would love to try though LOL! I probably flashed my first 6700 40-50 times and my second one about 80-100 times. My record was 14 flashes in one weekend when Veizonguy was kicking out new WM6 kitchens.

Touche...
I'm starting to think I said "no" too fast.

I just flashed 30min ago from a ROM version that is perfectly fine, to the latest build.
