partial rom upgrade fail HELP

tried to update rom from storage (4.4.5 mighty) using a mac. the rom won't complete though the image goes all the way. regular start now says rom code errror. possible not all the rom got transfered (looks like 80 megs but on my mac its 115). have updated his roms at least 20 times - they are awesome. is there anyway to unbrick this? sure seems bricked.

Re: partial rom upgrade fail HELP

in order to get your phone back in operating condition, i would suggest using a PC to flash the stock/shipped ROM to your phone while in the bootloader screen.

i'm not familiar enough w/mac's to give you any suggestions on it

Re: partial rom upgrade fail HELP

sorry for delayed thanks, was flying today. i'm attached now to a pc and either get the screen with red, green, blue , white bands saying upgrade rom code error or I can get to the press power to upgrade screen if i start with holding the 3 buttons. active synch does not recognize either way. can you point/instruct what to do? thanks

Re: partial rom upgrade fail HELP

rlkagan, how did you fix your diamond. I did something wrong and now my diamond is stuck at the main "touch diamond" screen. I plug it into activesync but it isn't recognized...anyy helpp guyss?? I can hard reset it and get into that screen, however it just resets it to the corrupted rom.

Re: partial rom upgrade fail HELP

flash it from the bootloader screen, you get to it by pressing the same keys as w/the hard reset, but you also hold the back button on the d-pad
