I looked on the powerdeck site. I even went to the same exact spot on the Mogul at the same time as I went to it on the Diamond. No picture mail link on the Diamond Can I use the same app that is listed on the Mogul on the Diamond?

Or if someone could download the latest picture mail on their Diamond and upload it that would be awesome.

Thanks!

so i refresh my rom to the stock sprint this morning and refresh it again to 4.6. ie is still being opened when i chose a link from email. so i guess the rom is set to open ie by default when opening an email link? this is my guess since not too many others are complaining about this issue. if this is not the case and there is a fix for this, please let me know. i guess i can always have ie open the link and copy and past the url to opera. it's something i have sacrifice. thanks for all your help guys.

From what I understand 4.6 still has a few issues. These include, RSS links not opening properly, album is not the greatest and some random freezing. Am I missing anything?

So what do you guys think?? Upgrade or wait... Mike I could really use your input on this?!

I really need to flash soon as I got some corrupt files(after playing with themes) giving me some issues that I would really like to correct. I don't want to hard reset cause I haven't setup sashimi and was planning on doing it after my next flash so I could really boil it down to what I use after installing everything the way I want it.
Album is not a big deal, I personally dont use the RSS hub so that doesn't affect me. The freezing issue has been around for a while now... I've had it in every 4.x build.

Unless you have something better to do why not?

Thanks p2K, but I think my gf just made plans for me anyway. Looks like I'll have to wait until tonight at least.

I don't understand why this seems to be the prevalent attitude towards this current rom. In my opinion anything that affects the functionality of the phone is absolutely a big deal. The album thing is a huge deal. My phone has a camera, I take pictures and I like to be able to look at those pictures in a functioning album (downgrading to the previous album release is not an option because I use the facebook uploader quite often). I as well use the RSS Hub on a daily basis. It seems as though people were more concerned with their custom status icons than these issues.

This has by far been the fastest ROM i've used but I had to switch because of the lack of functionality.

I'm not gripping on MightyMike. I'm absolutely certain he's trying to figure out the solution to these problems. I guess i'm jut surprised at the apathy displayed by some towards these ROM flaws.

LoL - are you saying that because the consensus seems to be that the album thing isn't a big deal, but is a big deal to you cus you can't facebook. Its actually a really big deal we just don't know it yet?

Dream on!

I imagine you're correct on the consensus. And yes I imagine it's funny that I care about being able to use my album and facebook (not quite as important as having my slider color match in my album or my keyboard be black or my "hepactic feedback" working... it's haptic btw), but I suppose it's not half as funny as people who paid $150 or more for a phone that now has 1/2 it's features not working properly(exageration) but are impressed cause it's sooooo fast. Really if you wanted a very fast phone with 1/2 the Diamond's features, you could have gotten an iphone.

before people take this the wrong way, my concern is really not about the ROM issues as I know they will eventually be addressed. Just the attitude displayed by some that if the issue someone has with the rom is outside their use or needs that they should find an outside solution to that problem i.e. an older cab version but if it is their issue they expect the correction in the next rom. The whole Idea of these roms if i'm not mistaken is to get the best ROM possible over the stock one which means that any and all legit feedback should be appreciated as opposed to shot down

Alright guys, I am going to have to agree with malenga on this one.

First off, lets stay on topic about the rom and cut down all unnecessary chatter that has nothing to do with the rom.

Second, if your posting screenshots on borderline mature content, please making them a LINK rather than a viewable screenshot.

Lets not have my thread derailed, lets keep it clean and lets be nice to all the users that pass through this thread.

Thank you, end of discussion, wrap it up and lets move on.

Period!

There isn't a reasonable expectation to find borderline porn in a cell phone/PPC forum. I didn't want to "complain to the moderators," because I (apparently mistakenly) believed there were some reasonable guys around here. Oh well, guess I was wrong.
