Even with lite, doesn't the full ROM image still get copied to the device? (so not as small as truly lite ROM, or editing a ROM to take things out)

when i tried sending messages through htc message it wouldn't send or show up on the conversation but you could see it on the all messages tab if i wanted to send a message id have to send a new message like actually go into the menu and select new message. the messaging in the start menu was fine but the htc message wasnt

An EXE installer gets copied with all the apps (60mb). If this is deleted, you have a lite ROM as small as a truly lite ROM. It works really good (not the beta, but the final version I haven't released yet.)

I started COD2, booted HARET, and 3D worked great
I got 17.4FPS on the NeoCore App, which is awesome.
But, 3D isn't enabled if you just use Manila 2.5.
Compared to without 3D, the software renderer would make my device so hot that I would have to reset it after about 30 seconds of use. Games would run at about 5FPS.

You're welcome =) We seem to have some serious heat & battery issues on the Diamond, makes me sad. I got a GSM TP2 for Europe and am leaving for work in a month, so I won't be around to see all these issues fixed I fear =/ Seems there's a new XDAndroid eclair release, dated 3/31... haven't tried it yet so dunno if/what's improved..
