Galaxy Nexus on Sprint

Anyone have any inside info on when Sprint will be getting the Galaxy Nexus?

fixxxer2012 11-21-2011 08:51 PM

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.7; en-us; Incredible 2 Build/GRI40; CyanogenMod-7) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Maybe in 2012 but ive heard no rumors about it. Verzon is getting it.

Too bad the horrible state of the sprint network will cripple the phone to death when it does come out.

@demonlordoftheround nope, been to hofo or the sprint community forums lately? Tons of threads about slow and useless speeds.

For me, signal strength and data speed have gotten better over the last two weeks.

Howdy GGG! good to see you around these parts. Btw, I think the Galaxy Nexus is what they are asking about. The Nexus S is different right?

Re: Galaxy Nexus on Sprint

They are still calling it the Nexus S so it's hard to tell but after reading the email from the owner this morning, they will be here this weekend!! Looks like the one you're waiting on to me.

PS. Good to see you too!

@GirlGoneGeek you had me jumping! But sat down as soon as I saw it was the old nexus, I thought it was the new nexus prime that vz is getting. Oh well, keep hoping...

Galaxy Nexus coming to Sprint's LTE network? This ad says so. -- Engadget

LTE is probably still two years away in my market so, something better will be available then.

Re: Galaxy Nexus on Sprint

im still thinking sprint lte is months upon months away, if not more. their not going to release the gnexus with the new lte when there will be virtually no tech for it anywhere yet. if anything the phone will support wimax.

i will say i rooted a guys evo4g last night and to my surprise the signal & 3g speeds were damn good. maybe they have fixed the network since i left them in june?
