Indianapolis finally getting 4g! Currently turned on Downtown!

I was downtown yesterday and i started getting signal on meridan at about the circle i was heading south. I had it the whole time and when i got to maryland i noticed i had about 3 bars of 4g. I turned east on Maryland and had service until i got to I-70/I-65 split. I ran multiple speedtest runs and got about 5200-6900. I also loaded the data on sensorly maps.

Not far enough LOL. I would love tho think that they would expand it consistently good signal all the way down to bloomington but that would never happen.

Re: Indianapolis finally getting 4g! Currently turned on Downtown!

I tried to get a 4G signal on my HTC Evo on Jan. 29 at Howl at the Moon, the Vogue, and Eagle Creek. No signal for me so far in Indianapolis but looking forward to it.

Re: Indianapolis finally getting 4g! Currently turned on Downtown!

Unless your gonna teather 4G on the EVO 4g sucks on the EVO. Even though speed tests are faster there is no difference in loading webpages, web apps, or streaming in my SF Bay market where I have it. I have not tested Sling yet so that may benefit on the device itself but I think there must be some issue with the processor speed vs internet speed in why there really is no noticeable difference on the EVO itself. So those who have not got it yet you don't have too much to worry about. Too bad Sprint won't waive 10 bucks for their clients who can't get 4G.
