You can try using you Black Berry Desktop Manager software. This should enable you to transfer your contacts.

There's an app called gsync or either google sync that will sync with google. My 8530 is setup to autosync and does so without me having to trigger it. As for initially syncing contacts from WM you can use Desktop Manager to do so. Good luck.
