Load OS - BBSAK 1.8.5
Hello BBSAK team, I love your program and use it almost daily. I am a Bell Business Dealer in Canada and Your program has been an incredible tool in our business. I updated to V1.8.5 recently and even since I cannot use the Load OS button. I have installed and uninstalled the program several times and always run as Admin but it doesn't seem to help. Vendor.xml has been deleted and I am using .NET 4 Extended on Win 7 64Bit. Blackberry DM seems to work just fine and has no issues of any kind. I either get that there is no handheld software installed on my machine (and there is) or I get the following error:
See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at BBSAK.os.Button1_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventAr gs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.W ndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4952 (win7RTMGDR.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Fra...7/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- BBSAK Assembly Version: 1.8.5.0 Win32 Version: 1.8.5 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/BBSAK/BBSAK.exe ---------------------------------------- Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly Version: 8.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 8.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL...isualBasic.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL...089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL...dows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL...em.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Runtime.Remoting Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL...e.Remoting.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL...figuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL...System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- Accessibility Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL...essibility.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. Re: Load OS - BBSAK 1.8.5
We don't support old version please download version 1.9 and give it a try.

Re: Load OS - BBSAK 1.8.5
Tried V 1.9 and got the exact same results. No difference...
Any ideas? |
Re: Load OS - BBSAK 1.8.5
I believe I have the same issue. I was never using 1.8 - just 1.9 - I guess I'll try going back to 1.8 for the moment? First time user - I've been still using command line! ;-)
I can try to test / provide more info if you tell me what you need. Thank you! |
Re: Load OS - BBSAK 1.8.5
Ummm why have the old versions been so scrupulously purged from EVERYWHERE? I can't find anyone with a 1.8 link that works - am I missing something? Galmog - if you have the 1.8 install or can point me at it I'd like to try that version to see if it works / I can confirm I have the same trouble you have.
Perhaps you can send me a message where I can download or send me a private message how to contact you? Thanks very much... PS I'm a bell berry too ;-) |
