Re: [09/23/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.8.0
Working perfectly on my Win7 64bit laptop. (Using Bold 9650 on stock Sprint OS)
I'll also report that the "successful" popup is more timely! On the last version it would pop up almost immediately before the phone had even begun the backup which was confusing until I learned to watch phone screen. Tips to remember... go to your Program Files(x86) folder, then BBSAK and right click on the EXE... choose run as administrator (do not use the created shortcuts). Also be sure you've plugged in BB and let the drivers load then run BBSAK. Finally, the last thing to try when you can't connect is to click "kill processes" |

Tried your tips, MINI. Nothing works. I cannot establish a connection to my 9700.

Re: BBSAK Blackberry Swiss Army Knife
Great application, thank you very much.
Especially its ability to backup 3rd party applications. But one slight problem came up after I did backup. The famous IT Policy suddenly appears and prevents my application to upload data (I am using Endomondo). I did not have any problem using my application prior doing backup BBSAK. Any quick solution to remove IT Policy and prevent this to happen again? Thanks in advance... |
Re: [09/23/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.8.0
Can't connect to my Bold 9000. I am running Windows XP with the latest service pack and patches. User from the crackberry forum said if they turn off the password on the blackberry, then BBSAK v1.8 is connecting to the phone fine. Hope this might help some users. It doesn't help my case, as I have a corporate plan and the IT policy doesn't allow me to disable the password on my phone. It is not just a policy on paper, but that setting is actually locked out. =( Please fix the password bug on BBSAK. I like this tools. Will waited a bit for a fix before I go back to v1.7. Thanks
