Here are some screen shots of the newest version. I am having display issues as you can see.

We forgot to include the English language file in the latest build. If you install the English language file located here, it will work correctly. Sorry about that.

I also noticed that if I select check for update, it tells me an update is available but the update is for the version I have installed.

Good catch, I let wowthatisrandom do most the updating this time, so we missed a few things. Won't happen next time and the check for update has now been fixed! Thanks for reporting it.

posted the new version over at BBSAK.org

v1.9.11 (bbsak build will show 1.9.1.1, for some reason the packager doesnt like 4 numbers deep)

Re: "Docs2Go" backup removed in BBSAK v1.9.1

Just received notification today that another update is available (1.9.11) which restores the backup for Docs2Go for users of the Premium Edition of that app.

Thanks very much for deciding to put it back - excellent service!

Re: [12/09/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.9.1

I'm new to this forum but I have used BBSAK in the past. I can seem to get it to run.

I'm using a Toshiba laptop with Win 7 64 bit. I dl'ed version 1.9.11, installed it and tried to run. I got the "BSAK has stopped running" windows error message, with no other explanation. I have Desktop Manager version 5.0.1.21 installed - I had updated it to the newest version 6 but it didn't work so I went back to 5.0.1.21. I had a previous version of BBSAK installed, and had backed up my Bold 9650 (OS 5.0.0.810) both in July and in August, but I don't know what version of BBSAK I used.

I had tried version 1.9, 1.9.1 and 1.9.11, all with the same error.

What did I do wrong?

FWIW, when I reinstalled v.1.9 and got the BBSAK has stopped working - windows is searching for a solution, the below metafile was created.

Make sure your using bbsak 1.9.11, i would try running it as admin (right click --> run as admin) . i have the same windows 7 64bit so i make sure all features are working on my machine before we release. there was an issue with 1.9 that broke the load os feature on 64 bit machines, but has since be rectified in the newest release.

i also use a bold 9650 so i know that its not the phone or the version of windows causing it. maybe make sure the drivers are installed properly on your machine (they come with desktop manager, so maybe try reinstalling that im on the newest version of desktop manger.

Re: [12/09/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.9.1

Thanks for the reply.

I tried that....no luck!. Actually, when I right-clicked, "run as admin" wasn't an option, which surprised me! So I went into the Properties and changed it there. Still no luck......

Before I reinstalled it, I went into the properties and changed the "Windows block" parameter...didn't notice any difference in the install. I do know that some of the "helpful" MS updates really messed up a bunch of my programs...ironically, the offending update was an MS "compatibility" update that was anything but. Most programs that were affected ran after I uninstalled and reinstalled them, except for Weather Radar Toolkit.:(

Edit:

I installed v.1.7 and 1.8.5 and am having the same problem....I have no doubt it is an MS created problem....the tmp info file with 1.8.5 is below. Meanwhile, any suggestions?
