Curve 8330 new user couple questions

hey guys i just picked up a curve 8330m for sprint from ebay.. so far its pretty good.. ive got 2 questions tho.. I keep receving emails in my sms box from the previous user.. i tryed to wipe the device and reinstall the OS but they still keep coming in.. any way i can manually delete this old email account? i was also wondering if its possible to find a hybrid for my phone? thanks
