NOTE: theres seems to be a small problem with the link, thats due on palringos end, just keep trying to access the link and eventually it will pull thru.

Hopefully this version will work for me. The older one just froze my device as soon as I tried to launch it. :(


brol1k - Just keep updating the first post in this thread with updates. Just PM me or one of the other staff for help cleaning and maintaining this thread. That way we don't have the clutter and confusion of multiple Palringo threads in this forum. Thanks! :)

I keep trying to join Palringo, can't get it to let me log back in let alone log in on my phone... when I click reset password I never get an email. Is this typical and I need to just wait or should I try a different email and start over?

OKies! thanks. I need to get this working and I had problems with the registration (basically the confirmation letter arrived like 3 days later...) and now can't log in.

OK so now I'm in... new user.

First thought, I need the option for chat font to be large not just small or medium. can barely read it!

Sorry for the delay, I'm just now getting around to downloading. I did like the original version actually, no complaints but am trying this one now :D

I have a question. Is the only way to leave it running and go back to other apps is to hold the menu down for task switcher? It seems when I back out it closes the app, maybe an option to close or run in background. And second question, does leaving it open affect ability to recieve call? I guess I could test that, might be a dumb question. I don't usually run chat apps on my BB just use BBM or text.

I usually just hit the red end call button to back out the app, its doesnt close it or anything it leaves it open in the background so u can task switch... and if you make or get a phone call it will reconnect itself to the servers like if u never received a call.

excellent, this is just the answer I was looking for...

Now, before I go running this thing for hours... what is the impact on battery life (real-life examples please!)

Um I havent really tested it myself liek that, usually I log in and stay on for an hour then log off...your more then willing to try and let us know tho, I get tons of emails and bbms daily to really test it. but having it on for an hour I dont see my meter move at all.

OK. We'll see maybe tomorrow when I don't have to be away from an outlet (should it be needed). I don't have a house phone so the BB is it can't let the battery go all the way down but I'm curious what is the impact on usage so I know how to procede.

I really dislike one thing: After typing in my message into text box, when sending on storm I have to select BB key, press ok, Select BB key again and press send. Why not suggest they use one step instead of two Brol1k ;) Even though I'm not on BB atm it was the only complaint I had :D
