Bold 9700 trackpad frozen

Hey guys,
I just bought a bb bold 9700 from Amazon and 1 day after the purchase, the trackpad froze. I can click but can't scroll anything. I have already changed the trackpad to a new one and it didn't work. Have as well wiped the device and reinstalled the newest OS recommended by my carrier (Vivo from Brazil). However nothing worked. Sometimes when I left the battery out of the mobile for 1 day, when I put it again and turn the mobile on the trackpad works normally for few hours and then the trackpad freezes again. I'm kind desperate right now. I can't change it because I bought it in the US and now I'm in Brazil... Do you guys have already experienced some issue related to this one?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers

Re: Bold 9700 trackpad frozen

try going to a mobile phone store & see if they have any tricks. If your issue hasnt been resolved with a replacement trackpad & OS reinstall then it must be your phone, you may just have to call whoever you got it from & get a replacement.
