many of the apps for the iPhone seem that they would be easily transferable to WM or Android... the app developers are iPhone fanatics and look at other devices as inferior. This will change with Android in my opinion... 1 huge issue with the iPhone... not available on VZ IMHO... Dan

I'm sure someone could make something similar for Windows Mobile (or just Windows in general, though I'm sure similar programs exist). You might want to check out hackaday.com and see if any of their contributors take suggestions.
