Can't uninstall a free software...

Hi all,

I'm new here and new to the smartphone world. I'm a mom of 5 one with special needs many appointments and so forth so I needed something to help keep me organized and rremind me of appointments as the paper planner was not cutting it for me (brain like jello with all my kids, LOL) anyhow, I have a moto q 9c love the phone and trying to learn all its features and potential as I like all the computer/techy stuff. Well I downloaded the CT clock freeware and realized I really don't want it right now it is saved on my storage card but I can't seem to uninstall it. Keeps giving me a permission error and something along the lines that it's being shared. What am I missing that I can't seem to figure out? Did I do something wrong by saving it on my storage card? Please help this newbie out . Thanks!

Hi, I'm not sure but I think you need to stop the program from running in settings>memory.
Stop it then try and uninstall it. hope that helps.

Re: Can't uninstall a free software...

Although you saved this app to your storage card, there may be some files that were loaded to your device, and possibly some registry changes made. You may have to load a clean up program (which is something you should have anyway), such as MemMaid or SKTools, to properly uninstall. MemMaid can be found at www.dinarsoft.com and SKTools @ www.s-k-tools.com. They're not free, but have a trial period.
