lol I managed to download it from Amazon's market, but I had to setup a payment method - even for free apps.

It needed some one-click thingy setup too. Kinda pisses me off, that I had to jump thru all those hoops, but a few of the apps they give out for free are worth it IMHO.

Odd, I got mine from the Market. Running on my Neopeek Gingerbread.

this trick works on some HD2 roms that FC some apps.

if it installs to SD move it to phone and run it. If it installs to phone and FCs move it to SD then back to phone then run it.

Also, keep in mind that we can't really help diagnose if you don't provide a dmesg. Just restart the phone, attempt the install, then open Terminal, and type dmesg > /sdcard/dmesg.txt and upload the file here.

I think in this case logcat would be more useful, no?

I would try to install it again - perhaps on a fresh data.img, just to see.

I got it to install and run no problem, but its laggy. I even have a class 10 sd card, and had my phone OC'd to 710mhz.

The original Angry Birds game required OpenGLES2.0... which our hardware doesn't support.

Try playing the game on a similarly specc'd G1 or anything else that's got slow hardware - you'll get the same (or similar) experience.

Can't expect our phones to run like they're brand new, just because they have a brand new OS ;).

yeah i got AB Rio installed on mine but it runs really slow (like 5-10 fps) even OC'd at 787mhz. dont suggest trying it.

Funny to hear all the problems with this app. I got it when it first came out. My TP2 played well with it, I thought. Not "awesome" like on my son's EVO, but quite playable, IMHO.
