Anyone have wifi sharing?
 

Hey guys,

I installed this Android OS, and it's GREAT!! I love it!!

But it has big problem I think -- Wifi Sharing

I have this in wm6 system and it works very well. And I heard that Andriod 2.2 was already rooted, so I tried to download Android Wifi tether here, and installed it, but it keep saying "Unable to start tethering, please try again later."

Anyone can help me?

Thanks for your reply. But I was not angry for this. I am so glad for these free stuffs from so many people.

I tried the link you gave me, it's too complicated. I just tried barnacle wifi tethering, which works great for me.

Kinda stealin a thread here eh?

Wifi has worked on XDAndroid for a long time... for most devices, if not all. Certain 210's have exhibited a weird init issue...

Also, WEP encryption doesn't work for RHOD's for some reason. I've heard every other device (RAPH, DIAM, TOPA, etc) work fine tho... Not sure what's up with that, but WEP is incredibly insecure and shouldn't be used anyways :p

The only way I can get Wifi Tether to work is to have it on in Winmo prior to booting Droid
