Toshiba Thrive

Who else has one on preorder? It may not be the thinnest or the best looking, but it should compete well with the Galaxy Tab and others. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Re: Toshiba Thrive

I've got the 16 GB version on pre-order from Best Buy. It accepts an up to 128 GB SD card too plus you can use a USB flash drive with it for even more. Love this one. I still have a couple questions:

What's the PPI
Does it have an LED flash for the 5 MP camera

Can't find answers to these yet. Still it is the best tablet for me with all of the ports and expand-ability/affordability.

Re: Toshiba Thrive

Yep the connectivity and storage is awesome on the Thrive. It's the closest thing to a laptop replacement IMO. I hope to see further uses for the USB port in the future, USB modems, etc.

Their is no flash on the Thrive. If I remember right, night & low light shots will be possible through software. And PPI is a abbreviation for pixels per inch.

Just picked up a Thrive at a local Best Buy. I had to see if it could be done, as others have had some success doing it. Can't wait to get home and open it up. And my Amazon preorder is canceled now.
