Youtube force close issue
 

I would say that half of the videos i try and view through the youtube app cause a force close of the app. Is anyone else having this issue?

I dont seem to have that issue.. I will try to check on more videos when I get home from work... Have you done any modifications to your tablet?

Nope, no modifications have been done. The only thing I tried was doing a factory restore to try and fix that, as well as occasional market crashes.

weird... I have tried to launch from the widget and just randomly choose the videos... would you mind sharing specific videos? I can try to load them here and see. if you would like the YouTube.apk for the tab PM me and I will send it to you but I dont know if you need it since you have not made any changes...

goto applications "manage applications" and clear data or backup and hard reset.

Did the clear data and it still didn't help. The one channel I can't watch any videos from is "machinima", the mortal kombat series for example.

Yep, i tried it man, no go. that is weird... I went on the hunt man and found that the issue is with Android 3.0 and that its a fix that is coming on the 3.1 update... :( Why they dont release the damn update already is beyond me... jejeje

Anyways, I know this is not the answer you wanted to hear man but here is more: I was able to access and play those videos through the default browser... Dunno if you have tried that... or not... jejeje

Thanks for the update. Sucks that i'm one of the people with the issue but it could be worse. I hope they release the update soon. I did try from in browser and it works so I guess I'll stick to that for now.
