Can the browser act like a desktop?
Does anyone know how to make the Tab's internet browser act like a desktop? I don't want it to browse to mobile versions of a website. I've tried about:config and about:debug, but they don't do anything.
Thanks in advance. |
Yeah, there's a setting you can type in the address bar, can't remember of the top of my head right now. Only problem is the setting doesn't stay, it changes back to mobile everytime you restart the browser.
Download Miren browser from the market place and call it a day. So far it's the best browser out of all the browsers I've tried so far for the Galaxy tab. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk |

I went with Skyfire. It seems to work well.

Re: Can the browser act like a desktop?
Firefox has a good android browser. There is an add in called Phony that adds an option in settings to set your user agent to Firefox desktop. The only problem is that it doesn't play flash video. Because of that I use both browsers.

Re: Can the browser act like a desktop?
Go to web-browser and type ABOUT : DEBUG (no spaces between, it was giving smily face) and then go to browsers MENU > DEBUG > UASTRING and change it to DESKTOP.
Then go back to the address bar and type ABOUT : DEBUG again and youre in business... jejeje Hope that helps... |
