Evo 4g and Elocity 7" Tablet
Hello all I have a few questions, I read somewhere you can tether your internet from HTC phone to android tablet to share its internet, I am first having trouble with bluetooth where it says paired but not connected, Anyone have any ideas on making the connection, is there software or app which will help me do this? I do have PDA.net on my phone and use it for my laptop pc,

Bluetooth depends on the stack and which services your running..I would rather suggest you use wifi even though its more of a battery hog the connection would be more stable:

Re: Evo 4g and Elocity 7" Tablet
Is there a way of finding a compatible blue-tooth connection between the two devices? I have the Sprint wireless hot spot but would like to pair with phone on the fly,
I also have a second question can you root a tablet? |

Wifi is more straight forward...if you have infer-structure tethering on your EVO then tablet should be able to connect to it..if Ad Hoc is all you got then you need to do a wpa_supplicant hack on the Tablet(I'm assuming its android right? If not then Inferstructure tethering is only option) If its an Android Tablet, then yes it can be rooted.. |

Well in order for it to Share VIA PAN, I still have the problem of connected but not paired, I know it is a bluetooth issue but wondering if there is a way to make the bluetooth compatable by downloads, or even a different version of operating system. I am not to familiar with bluetooth so not quite sure if it is a hardware or software issue.
and yes the Tablet is an Android |
