PSX4Droid Help

Is there any way to make this playable? I'm using an Epic, and I'm trying to play Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and as of now it's so slow that it's absolutely unplayable. Is there any work around with the settings or anything that could make this better? Thanks in advance.
