Annoyed with Stock Music Player!!! Help me if you can.....

I am completely annoyed with the stock music player. I download music from the net to my SDCARD. I unzip the mp3's to the following mocations /sdcard/music/[name of artist]/[name of album]

However, the only I can play the music is to play them one at a time. Isn't there a way to make the music player search for new tracks???

I've searched but it seems I am the only having this type of issue. :EEK: I am really frustrated!!!

I'm not sure how or why....but I decided to do a restart and I downloaded Musicmod from the Market. It seems to be working now.

I guess the lesson learned here is after adding music, restart the phone because it won't refresh unless you do.

I'm having the opposite problem with the stock player, it has found every single file that is audio on my sdcard so now all the game sounds and audio are listed in my library with no way to remove them except for making a playlist. I'll be listening to music and all of a sudden one of the sound effects from golf or hawk will play.

I am annoyed with it because I get my work voicemail emailed to me in wav format and it wont play that format.
