Poor GPS Performance (Repairing AGPS?)

I'm just marking this as Sprint because I know AGPS problems are carrier specific, but I may change that at a later date.

I'm hoping to find someone who knows how to get the AGPS working, as it has never seemed to for me since I switched off the stock ROM. At the same rate, I'm not even sure it worked on the stock ROM, it has been a long time.

My problem comes down to very poor GPS performance. My phone will absolutely not get a lock while at work, even if left by the window. At home, it will not get a lock till I leave it by the window for a while. If I take it back inside after that, it holds satellites. When driving around, the GPS lock is poor, also, with at most 6 satellites locked at any time. Average 2-3 which has the map jumping around a lot.

It comes down to the fact that AGPS does not seem to work. I checked the registry entries for AGPS running Juicy's ROM 8 and it was set to the Telus servers. I switched it to Sprint but haven't noticed any difference. I was running the Telus radio at the time, also. I have flashed back to the stock Sprint radio, and even with the correct registry settings, no such luck.

So to summarize the problems I'm having...
-Very long lock times (2+ minutes)
-Low satellite lock count and poor accuracy

My last touch pro had the same problem, running the same ROM (different version) so I doubt it's the hardware. Am I missing something simple? QuickGPS is updated as always...
