The raw boot-up screen by default shows 'security unlocked'.. but apparently that's just what it shows by default, it doesn't mean its unlocked....
At least that's what previous posts have indicated. Before I unlocked mine, I noticed the raw boot-up screen showed 'unlocked' as well. (new out of the box).
If you followed the instructions, you're probably ok....
