Re: HTC Titan stuck in bootloader

So then I ran across a thread I can't remember that said to run the Titan Unlocker as step 1 in the process of flashing this phone to Metro PCS.

So I did - and it got stuck in the bootloader screen.

When trying to update to any WM6+ ROM it will get to 11/12% and then the phone restarts and gets stuck in the bootloader again.

I am on a Vista machine, so I cannot run the "exitbl" program found in the thread with the unlocker - but I am about to be on an XP machine in an hour or so. I am posting here in case that works, and because I just took it to a cell phone repair shop a couple of days ago and they apparently couldn't get it to update either.

Thanks for the help.
I had same problem i was stuck on that multi colored bar screen. If you have an empty storage card you can format it to fat32. then put the nbh file into it changing the name to TITAIMG . Most of the posts say to change it to TITAIMG.NBH. This is incorrect in tht if you change it to that, on your card it will be read as TITAIMG.NBH.nbh. So after you change the nbh file's name to TITAIMG, just install it into your titan, hit the power and camera button, then hit the reset button at the same time. This will start the process just follow screen directions. You can format you sd card to fat32 from your comuter by right clicking hit the fat32 option.
