HTC Titan stuck in bootloader

I am new to the forum, as you can surely see, but I bought this HTC Mogul 6800 (Sprint) that was already flashed to MetroPCS.

But, me being the DIY'er, decided to upgrade from WM 6.0 to 6.1, thus erasing all the Metro settings on the phone and reverting back to Sprint.

So then I ran across a thread I can't remember that said to run the Titan Unlocker as step 1 in the process of flashing this phone to Metro PCS.

So I did - and it got stuck in the bootloader screen.

When trying to update to any WM6+ ROM it will get to 11/12% and then the phone restarts and gets stuck in the bootloader again.

I am on a Vista machine, so I cannot run the "exitbl" program found in the thread with the unlocker - but I am about to be on an XP machine in an hour or so. I am posting here in case that works, and because I just took it to a cell phone repair shop a couple of days ago and they apparently couldn't get it to update either.

Thanks for the help.
