Ok first off, I have been Browsing PPCGeeks and XDA for about 2 weeks now but just recently started posting so... HELLO everyone

Ok one thing that has bothered me about my TP is the lack of the tasks on the home page. I know lots of people use SecondToday or TFDetacher to solve this problem. I tried using TFDetacher but there were some weird problems (like randomly switching between Touchflo and Today). I haven't tried SecondToday yet but I got a better idea. My problem is that I need this type of stuff in my face every time I turn my phone on otherwise I forget all about it... Haha.

I was thinking an Icon on the task bar that displays number of High priority tasks and number of normal priority tasks. Even just as simple numbers. Of course is the Icon is tapped it would bring up the tasks program. And maybe a settings program to change basic look and feel of the app.

I wish I had the programming background to do this kinda thing. If I did I would just make the app myself and post it to the world. But for now I can only offer the idea and let someone else take the credit for making it.

I'm sorry if this has already been discussed or created. I searched everywhere but was unable to find anything like this. If someone knows of a program that will do something like this can you please post a link for me.
