Re: start menu color fix

If you're using the large start menu the standard tf3d background for that is controlled by a png file in windows "pattern_2_2.png" you can create a new one wth same name and size it is 2px by 2px and load to your windows directory. Or you can create a new one and save it with diff name and edit your registry to point to it... HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu

edit-change value for "ManilaCustomTexture" to point to the new file.

Alternatively you can you edit you font color in your registry to make it more readable with the current background:
HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu
Edit hex values for "ManilaCustomText"

Same goes for Task manager but the keys are found
HKCU\Software\HTC\TaskManager


If you're not using the large start menu then the background is covered by your today tsk file. and text is can be changed by UItweaker.

(this is assuming windows 6.1, I don't know about 6.5)
