There are so many things that you need to read first....you need to make sure you have the right bootloader to run DCD, and you need to have the right radio available and if you plan to run GPS you will need to revert to an old preGPS rom before upgrading to custom rom.
Have you read the wiki for the 6800? Read EVERYTHING (including all links) from the first link "XV6800 WIKI" from my signature till you know it all. Then report back.
