Smile Fix for low volume on handset

At the risk of being flamed off this forum (I did search this before posting), I wanted to report my experiences with poor call quality i.e. choppy sound at the receivers end, dropouts and other noise, that have been occurring irrespective of number of bars or signal strength while using the handset to make or receive calls (without BT).

I find myself having to repeat nearly every second sentence. The problems decreased with the reg edit to increase handset volume, that can be found here...

Direct link for coarse audio fix (change filename to .cab and copy to device and install)

Anyone else notice that sound quality issues improve with this fix ?
