Verizon Touch Pro memory usage

I am running Silence ROM 4, but the problem doesn't seem to be tied to any ROM that I use.

After about 4-6 hours of normal usage (normal for me, 1-3 hours of tethering to my laptop, some games, web browsing, etc...) I have to reboot the phone in order to be able to open any more applications.

When I check on the memory usage, I'm showing 95MB used, and 1 MB free. When I go to look at what programs are running, I don't see anything that I can kill in order to reclaim more memory. Opera will complain about not being able to open any more tabs, and I will get dialogs asking me if I want to close programs because there is not enough memory.

I know Verizon skimped on the RAM for these phones (96M for userland applications is a bit rough, even for a mobile device)

File system cache: 8MB
File system filter cache: 16384

And my page pool is set to 8

Any recommendations or suggestions?
