If you know your exchange address, you can at least
try it. Go to Start->Programs->Active Sync. Then choose Menu->Add Server Source. The rest you should be able to figure out on your own. I would probably leave the option checked asking about SSL connections. Most exchange servers issue certificates, so you would need this.

@Cicatrize: He never said they wouldn't
allow it, they just won't support it - most likely meaning they won't set it up for him. My company doesn't support Blackberry's, but we still allow our agents/field staff to have them. Big difference there.
