Disable TouchFlo 3d in your today settings and try this. It should do the trick. Go into the config settings and map a softkey in tf3d and on the today screen to open/close. Like atomic2mod said
It actually takes tf3d off the today screen and frees it up so you could run whatever else you like on it, ie 6.5 users could enjoy titanium and tf3d.
